1. What is Aquaponic?

Aquaponic is a close loop integrated ecosystem deriving from both the best of aquaculture and hydropinics. We grow fish and vegetables at the same time, the fish waste provides organic food for the growing plants and the plants naturally filter the water in which the fish live.

2. Why Aquaponic?

Aquaponic produces the most natural vegetables, using only high quality non-GMO seedlings, 100% chemical & pesticides-free, as fresh and safe to eat literally at the farm. Environmentally, Aquaponic uses 90% less water than traditional farming as the same water is reused and no water is lost through soil. It is also a sustainable system where it does not pollute any of the farmland as the system is usually set-up to waist height and it does not use the ground to grow vegetables. Last but not least, the harvest time is usually much shorter than the tranditional farming harvest time, hence Aquaponic is a fast and efficient food production system.

3. Are your vegetables organic? 

Aquaponic grown vegetables are 100% chemical pesticides-free vegetables, and produced in a natural environment. Eventhough Farm-In does not grow our plants in any soil, but our system uses a natural soil amendment and constituent -- cocopeat and peatmoss as our medium to grow our vegetables, of which they are often harvested at their optimal state of consumption naturally.

4. Do you provide delivery services? 

Yes we do but only up to 17km from our Penampang farm, additional delivery charges applies to those further away, please kindly contact us regarding your area of delivery if you are unsure.

5. Can we cancel our subscription? 

Unfortunately no, however we do allow you to transfer your subscription to another person in agreement of your own transaction, and in the similar delivery area. Please contact us in regards to your transferring of subscription.

6. Can I select a different pickup/delivery day or time? 

Our pickup and delivery time is set twice a week (Monday & Thursday). Additional charges may apply for a different delivery day/time.

7. Can I visit your farm? 

Our farm tour will be a part of our project, please stay tuned by signing up to our newsletter for the launching invite.

8. How do I make my vegetables last longer? 

We kindly advise you to store our vegetables in an airtight container or in the packaging that we provide as soon as you receive them, and in the fridge chiller. This can guarantee to keep them fresh and crisp for as long as 1-2 weeks.
